With popular and social media providing increasing stories about the ecological degradation of this planet and the human impact on the environment, agriculture, and water supply, the timing for this series is more crucial than ever. We will highlight and explore the simple solutions of ancient and indigenous techniques for sustainability as well as the integration of appropriate technology for time and labor-saving application to growing food, collecting water, and building shelter. The various cities in which this series takes place will illustrate the diversity of economy, climate, bio-region and waste-streams as well as the commonality that we share as Americans.
