ANYWHERE on the PLANET into an OASIS

If you had a single year to focus and invest all your energy, creativity and value into your home, how sustainable could your life be?  What would happen if you were given all the resources you needed to create a property that grows food, harvests rainwater, uses solar energy, and up-cycles and re-uses items that normally end up in the landfill?

Three Years, One Goal:

Improving Quality of Life through Sustainable Living by innovating creative approaches for growing healthy food, collecting clean water, and generating energy in major cities on individual and neighborhood levels.

Grow Everything you Need

Through creating local self-sufficiency and neighborhood community resilience, we have the opportunity to demonstrate what is possible, and inspire a more healthy, connected, and meaningful way of living.

Pioneering Innovation and Teaching Ecological & Resource Management

Food Production

The key to healthy living is access to healthy, organic food.  Integrating sustainable science and innovating new applications give us an easier, more efficient and connected way to the food we need at our home.

Energy Efficient Homes

By blending the best of the Tiny House movement, passive solar heating and cooling, natural building, rainwater harvesting and solar energy, we have the opportunity to create micro-ecosystems that will provide a healthy and sustainable environment for humans and micro-ecosystems.

Feedback Loop

Observing and interacting with the innovations we integrate into our homes give us the feedback loop to provide an opportunity for improvement and practical use.  Using scientific methods of data measurement and statistical analysis, we provide the research and development foundation for better living methods across the country.

A Globally Cooperative Game

Providing Tools for Inspiration and Solutions to Global Challenges

With popular and social media providing increasing stories about the ecological degradation of this planet and the human impact on the environment, agriculture, and water supply, the timing for this series is more crucial than ever.  We will highlight and explore the simple solutions of ancient and indigenous techniques for sustainability as well as the integration of appropriate technology for time and labor-saving application to growing food, collecting water, and building shelter.  The various cities in which this series takes place will illustrate the diversity of economy, climate, bio-region and waste-streams as well as the commonality that we share as Americans.
